I got shade 14 Mellow Strawberry, which is a dusty rose with a warm undertone. On my face, the color straight from the applicator appears slightly deeper and more pigmented than it does in the product photo, where it looks more muted. However, once blended out, the shade closely matches how it appears in the photo.
On my cool toned and pigmented lips, this shade pulls almost baby pink, almost like a slightly lighter and pinker take on my natural lip color. I prefer using it as a base for a lip look rather than wearing it alone, since it can wash me out depending on the rest of my makeup. Given how it appears on my fair skin, I’m concerned it could look chalky or ashy on medium to deep skin tones.

I was not sure what to expect when I pulled the wand out of this lip stain and it looked so strange. It had much more of a mousse-like texture than I expected. But I tried it and it worked so well! It really does have a velvety feel and a matte finish. It goes on and looks much different than a normal lip stain. You could definitely just leave it as-is once you put it on, but I add chapstick just to add a bit of shine and protection.
The colour is pretty dark though. It is buildable, but not super buildable. You start with definite colour with only a tiny bit. But the colour is really nice and flattering, pretty natural looking. And it seems to last pretty well..
